This is the year I failed to post a lot of work I did, which is what I gather this whole thing is for. But it’s the year I met this lady and honestly between making pictures for a living and striving to be the dad this one deserves I haven’t had time or energy to keep up with “engagement”.

Excited to share the pre-order of @jimvondruska , @cguess and my zine chronicling our coverage of the 2022 @choptopchallenge , a very unique, very specific and possibly dangerous cross country road race.

Starting in Louisville and ending in Key West, the Chop Top is a cannonball style road race with hand crafted vehicles lacking things like roofs and windshields and basic safety precautions. Half endurance race and half cult, the Chop Top is a piece of Americana that feels almost timeless. Doing a stupid thing that is hard for no reason and no reward aside from the bragging rights you did it.
