VORREL 🎬✨ It’s time to introduce the last piece of the Reverie principal cast puzzle… the enigmatic Dr. Vorrel — brought to life by the brilliant Christopher Devereux. 💫 🌡 About Dr. Vorrel: In the fractured world of Reverie, not everyone wears a clear label. Dr. Vorrel exists in that murky space — neither hero nor villain — but the catalyst, the gatekeeper between reality and illusion. The one who opens the door… though what lies beyond, even he cannot control. 🎭 Why Chris? Among a sea of talented actors vying for this role, Chris’s self-tape left no room for doubt. His multi-layered interpretation of Dr. Vorrel had us all in goosebumps — sharp, unsettling, and yet deeply human. Though Chris is the only member of our principal cast we’ve worked with before, there were no shortcuts here — his performance earned him this role outright, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch him inhabit the ambiguity and tension Dr. Vorrel demands. What was meant to be a four-day shoot quickly became a test of resilience, from personal loss to a red weather warning that forced us to postpone filming for safety. But through it all, this cast and crew pulled together with incredible generosity, flexibility, and spirit. Because of that, Corpsing exists: a darkly funny, quietly emotional short about pride, reinvention, and the chaos of unexpected awakenings.
