As some of us continue to stay home, we have reached out to more names in photography and extends our visual diary series. Both new and established, these image-makers we admire share their own perspective about the new reality we currently live in. 🌏

For the next series of Visual Diary, we highlight a prominent photographer, Chris Bunjamin, whose works often has a poetic if not social subtext as he is able to bridge between and array of commercial and fashion photography to contributing his skills in teaching photography for refugee children. He and his wife flew to Melbourne right before the pandemic outbreak occured in Indonesia. Slowly adjusting to hard times by spending quality time with the family. “Slowing down is a good thing. Though time heals nothing, it gives us space to grow and to think more about the future, to embrace the small things in life, to love ourselves and to get to know ourselves more.”

Kayu|Lucie Fontaine and Yayasan Mitra Museum Jakarta are pleased to present “We Move Amongst Ghosts” at the Museum of Fine arts and Ceramics in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This is Kayu|Lucie Fontaine’s eleventh project and the first in a series of group exhibitions in collaboration with YMMJ.
The series, showcasing artists from Indonesia and abroad, will be held at a selection of Jakarta museums. “We Move Amongst Ghosts|Justice”, this inagural show, includes works by Arahmaiani, Ashley Bickerton, Chris Bunjamin, Marco Cassani, Rafram Chaddad, Cian Dayritt, Fendry Ekel, J. W. Heydt, Agnieszka Kurant, Goshka Macuga, Michelangelo Pistoletto, and Rirkrit Tiravanija.
Opening 11th of February at 6.30 PM. Open to public from 12th of February, Exhibition running until 15th of March 2020.
