Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, this hike challenged us in every way possible and was our first high altitude overnight hike. Experiencing the mighty sights and sounds of Fuego’s eruptions all night long to then pushing ourselves to wake up at 3am to summit Acatenango. Standing above the clouds at 13,000ft high at sunrise along side my man, was an indescribable feeling. If we can climb a volcano who knows what else we can accomplish together. The world is unknown and overwhelming at times, but if you keep putting one foot in front of the other you too can surprise yourself on where you can go. ⛰️ #guatemala #acatenango #fuego🔥 #hiking brothersexpeditions

Our aim is to make Drop the Needle (B-Side) as close as possible to the original's style. The biggest challenge in doing so lies in the fact that we had 16 shooting days for Side A, while the B-Side was shot during the course of a single day. With our Director of Photography, Keegan Tam, focused primarily on interviewing over 20 individuals, we knew we needed an additional camera operator to help capture the energy in the store and provide the valuable supplementary material to help elevate our Play De Record follow-up to match the quality of the first one.
With the recommendation from Keegan, we brought on board Christina Borgs. A graduate from the Toronto Film School in 2018, Christina has been quickly establishing herself within the industry, working on productions such as Star Trek:Strange New Worlds, Reacher, and Murdoch Mysteries. Working with us last November, Christina did a fantastic job capturing the magic within the store and provided us with a bounty of amazing footage to utilize in telling our brand new Play De Record story.
We look forward to sharing Christina's work very very soon. Drop the Needle (B-Side) will be included on the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of the original film (which you can currently watch on Amazon Prime). New interviews, new soundtrack, new story. Same Eugene.
A video montage of the crazy hectic mountain road trip Brad and I embarked on this past October🏔️ we endured every type of weather condition imaginable and somehow always found our way back to the car regardless of what late hour we started our hikes 🤣 #kananaskis #banff #waptafalls #lakelouise #lakelouiseteahouse #golden #cannmore #barrierlake #alberta #britishcolumbia #canada
