All done on Melrose! The team did such a solid job!

This was a special project to work on with beautiful design from @sarita_posada for the @aimeleondore third global flagship store.
Working within the original 2440SF footprint, the project consisted of Melrose Ave retail, a rear courtyard and café, private bar and dressing area, and second story offices/storage.
The transformation and café change of use touched every corner of the existing structure and required a high level of coordination and collaboration to fit so much into such a small and highly designed space.

I spent four days and my 43rd birthday driving from Utah to LA with @josh_r_rak and two constantly arguing kids jammed in a camper van. Here is the lovely in hindsight Instagram post which makes me want to jump back in the car and do it all again….
The main gallery floor was poured today at David Zwirner’s new LA gallery. The rain set us back however in order to claw back some time, we removed 16” of water logged clay and replaced it with greasy base.

We took the kids out for one last weekend rip before we switch out the transmission ready for Baja. The little bug is at the shop now - thanks @ssakulsky
