Cobble Clogs for the @vizcom_ x @zellerfeld mule challenge.
I wanted to design a shoe made from materials that would normally feel impossible for footwear, leaning into the unique process of 3D printing. Early explorations referenced materials like rope, braids, weaves, and other fibers.
The final concept began as a basket woven structure that I inflated and evolved into the Cobble Clogs. The 3D cobblestone surface feels soft, doughy, and slightly cartoonish, while the gaps between the stones allow for your dogs to breath.

Designing in @vizcom_ feels like sketching with a new level of freedom. One moment I’m prompting for wild new materials, the next I’m seeing the concept from new angles, then seeing it in context.
I used Live Render to get real time visual feedback and explore aesthetics. In Workbench, I used New View to imagine the shoe from different angles. Finally, with Modify, I simply asked Vizcom to show me a model wearing the sneaker on a gorp-core styled model. And it nailed it.

Used @figma Make to prototype a digital labyrinth toy with an infinite number of mazes and colors.
The playful 3D style of @asallen ‘s new camera app has been on my mind for weeks. The lighting with the shifting platform produces some really nice shadows. Going to try another version allowing for tilt controls.
Really impressed by these new prototyping tools to either communicate the smallest interaction or a rough idea.

Bird house concept for @renderweekly x @vizcom_ . Simple folded sheet metal design that blends into the garden. Used a custom Palette early on to achieve a similar visual fidelity across concepts. Final CAD was modeled in Fusion 360, then brought back into Vizcom for cohesive renders and in context animation.
