Pro Tip from Olympus Rally ‘26 LN4 winner Mark Piatkowski :
“Everyone warned me on how unpredictable Olympus weather can be. So Sara and I flew with squeegees, extension rods, ponchos, demist spray. And honestly, I don’t know what everyone was talking about. The weather was great. I even managed a sun tan.”

I was hella stoked to come home and find my copy of @chris.creationmachine ‘s The Art of Motion sitting on my porch, but I was definitely not expecting to open it up and find me and @stevenreddracing as the second photo! It’s an amazing shot though, and one I’d always treasure even before I knew it was in the book.
This book is awesome, and I think he still has some copies left if you want one of your own [hint: you do] https://www.creationmachine.co/shop/p/the-art-of-motion-volume-i-2021-2025
Have you met Drew Coley yet?
The guy is a gem. He builds custom homes for a living in the beautiful PNW. And has taken a liking to stage rally recently.
In only his 4th ever event, and first national event, Drew and his co-driver Chad took the top spot in regional L4WD. Mind you Olympus Rally this year was legendary and the longest stage rally in the series history. 97 teams started and only 64 actually finished.
We caught up with Drew post event to get a piece of advice as he continues this journey slingin’ gravel :
“Don’t hesitate to jump in and chase your dreams. I had a lot of doubters when I first started doing rally. And quite frankly still have some. But while they are criticizing me, I am out there doing it. I encourage everyone to do the same thing. Take the risk, jump in head first. Don’t wait for the stars to align.”
It doesn’t hurt that Drew is #melemount equipped. He has parts in both of his rally cars and a SxS now.
We can’t wait to help debut his new build in due time 😉.

“Remember it’s gray, not white.”
Fun facts about this rally brick :
02WD | 270 HP to the wheels | Tuned by the legendary John Reed | Nickname Turnip, aka Stockholm Syndrome | Built by Primitive Racing with some janky ass battery box 😂 | Rolled in collaboration with Cody Crawford
MeLe Customer Racing
Olympus Rally this year was one for the books. With 5 manufacturers present, roads dating back to the Group B era of WRC, and the beautiful mossy covered trees of the PNW, what unfolded in WA will be talked about for decades to come.
One of the emerging stories is that of Josh + Gavin from Mtn Goat Rally Team. Taking on the longest event in ARA series history, they battled a stacked regional field and pulled out the overall win in their H6 powered Subaru GC Impreza. Hell they even did a motor swap on day two to be able to compete on the final day.
This isn’t the first time one of our customers has taken the top step, and it surely won’t be the last.
