Make some noise for @qweenkong đ¤đ¤đť Absolute rock and rollers! Chosen Thread Fest is coming up soon!! On May 9th, weâll be celebrating local and northeast bands and also raising money for our community!! Due to the countries ever present racism and the disgusting policing in the form of ICE, we wanted to take a moment to support those who may not have the resources we do. Luckily @nhvimmigrants is helping those in need in our state. Show up in solidarity to help support their rapid response team and all they do for our communities here in CT!
Taking place at 109 Seaside Ave, Milford, CT @rockhopperct
$20 Tickets but $10 Tickets for Students with ID!

I knew I wanted to support @cthra_org from the jump because they provide harm reduction to my home state. for those who donât know, harm reduction is a movement to treat those with addiction with respect and reduce negative social consequences that usually come with the stigma of addiction. (CTHRA also provides narcan, sterile needles, condoms, safe smoking kits and they do drug and STI testing at their facilities).
I have grown up around a lot of drug users in my life. from family to friends to neighbors. as a kid, you donât really understand how drugs work or why someone might choose them time and time again, but I always knew I cared about these people in my life. I could see their struggle and their kindness despite it all. as I grow up, those I know who were able to overcome their addiction were those who had support, resources, and tools (such as narcan or methadone). but not everybody has the luxury of family around them or medical insurance or mental health guidance. but we all can be that community at the end of the day!
so I hope youâll join us at this festival! even if you canât make it, please read up on harm reduction and how itâs impacted other countries positively. addiction rates go down when we give people the proper tools and grace that we would give to any other illness.

SOOOO EXCITED TO SEE THESE QUEENS OF CT ON OCTOBER 11TH âď¸đ
Legends of the New Haven scene. If you donât know them already, Dagwood writes great songs, shreds catchy riffs, lays down ripping rhythms and then gives it all a corrosive edge with a healthy dunk into the vat of punk acid. This is their last show for a while as they go to record the follow-up full length to their critically acclaimed âPollyanna Visionsâ EP. Do not miss it.

INTRODUCING STADIA âźď¸âźď¸đ¤đť
Stadia is the alias of Hartford-based composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist Dylan Healy. In the studio and on stage, Dylan is joined by Ashly LaRosa (Figurine), Daniel Carr (Greetings...), Peter Neagle (Carey), Rachel Kosa & Dave Bugnacki (Pearl Sugar).
The groupâs shared intuition flows through song as a river of energy. Their music is textural, dynamic and openâ a warm wind through an endless field. With two beloved EPs under their belt (2020âs âMood Ringâ and 2022âs âMoss Momentâ), the six-piece band is currently working on their anticipated full-length album.
