I want to give the biggest thanks to our family in @rockhopperct who have devoted their time and space to the DIY scene. they have revitalized a new era of music in CT and I can not be more thankful for them! everyone should follow their page and check out a show!!! hey! Chosen Thread Fest is today! the first benefit show we’re hosting after being inspired by charity shows we’ve played previously- @bymfestival for one was a huge inspo for this ⭐️⭐️ I knew I wanted to support @cthra_org from the jump because they provide harm reduction to my home state. for those who don’t know, harm reduction is a movement to treat those with addiction with respect and reduce negative social consequences that usually come with the stigma of addiction. (CTHRA also provides narcan, sterile needles, condoms, safe smoking kits and they do drug and STI testing at their facilities). I have grown up around a lot of drug users in my life. from family to friends to neighbors. as a kid, you don’t really understand how drugs work or why someone might choose them time and time again, but I always knew I cared about these people in my life. I could see their struggle and their kindness despite it all. as I grow up, those I know who were able to overcome their addiction were those who had support, resources, and tools (such as narcan or methadone). but not everybody has the luxury of family around them or medical insurance or mental health guidance. but we all can be that community at the end of the day! so I hope you’ll join us at this festival! even if you can’t make it, please read up on harm reduction and how it’s impacted other countries positively. addiction rates go down when we give people the proper tools and grace that we would give to any other illness. 📸 @alexmediaguy

INTRODUCING STADIA ‼️‼️🤘🏻 Stadia is the alias of Hartford-based composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist Dylan Healy. In the studio and on stage, Dylan is joined by Ashly LaRosa (Figurine), Daniel Carr (Greetings...), Peter Neagle (Carey), Rachel Kosa & Dave Bugnacki (Pearl Sugar).
