🪨⛏️ Developer Atticus Coalbert Adventures! ⛏️🪨
Coalbert, the pesky Pebblet, landed in Vermont in mid-February.
After his long travels and meeting the development team for the first time, he took a very much-needed nap. Vermont was a different vibe, but with Atticus's help, Coalbert quickly acclimated!
From trying yummy pizza for the first time, to the bricks of Burlington's Famous Church Street, Coalbert is determined to see and try it all~
Follow along as Coalbert goes on various adventures with different Chopping Block Devs every day for 13 days leading up to the full Steam release of our game on May 1st!

Sadly, the sunny times were too short, and Coalbert returned home to Vermont. However, Steven made sure the frosty welcome was still fun with a trip to the famous Lake Champlain! It was still a bit frozen and snowy, but Coalbert didn't seem to mind; he is a rock after all! So much so, he was still up for some yummy gelato at our local favorite, Shy Guy!

🪨⛏️ Developer Dylan Takes over! ⛏️🪨
Since Coalbert was so hungry, Dylan decided it was best to show Coalbert what it actually means to cook. But... perhaps we don't leave the pesky rock monster with a knife? Just don't tell Joe! At least they both got to enjoy some (aggressively seasoned!) oven-roasted chicken thighs.
Chef's Cooking Notes: Roast in the oven at 400 degrees for 50 minutes, basting once in the middle of the cooking process.

Pick Some Axe is the collectathon platformer that Chopping Block Studios has diligently been working on. Here on Instagram, you can expect to see updates, behind-the-scenes, and some extensive shenanigans.
Fair warning: the trailer is a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and we're very proud of what we were able to achieve in just a semester!
We're just getting started though, and we will be releasing the full game on Steam come May.
