Oh hai, new friends! Been a minute since I did an intro, so here goes:
🟢I write comics, fiction & poetry. Currently I’m working on a comic series, third novella in the Vaxis series, and a novel. I released my first poetry collection, Saving for a Mausoleum, in December.
🟢I’m a mama of one and it’s my favorite thing in the universe. My son, Atlas and I are constantly on the move and adventures. Naming a child was, like, one of the hardest decisions of my life.
🟢I’m always reading at least 3 books on any given day, but will never remember a single character’s name or often the author if someone asks.
🟢Deeply obsessed with being alive and being a human in this beautiful, complicated existence.
🟢Born in florida, raised bi-coastalish with my dad in CA through my teen years, and have known I wanted to live in NY since I was 13. Been here since I graduated and I’m never leaving.
🟢My husband who I call “Husboy” is a musician, my writing/biz partner, and my best friend. We run a small publishing company and label called Evil Ink. We also make music together in two indie projects: Chonny & Clyde and The Prize Fighter Inferno. We’re hitting the road in February for our first US tour.
🟢We travel a LOT. I love it. Husboy, not so much.
🟢I planned to be a forensic psychologist, then a neuroscientist with a focus on degenerative brain diseases…before scrapping that all to work in advertising as a copywriter.
🟢First concert: Bon Jovi and Skid Row with my mom. I was 6. She was unaware what Skid Row was.
🟢Before my son was born, I co-founded a social media agency with my bestie
@nataliezfat called The Social Co. I still very much enjoy social media, even when it’s a dumpster fire.
🟢We have an elderly Maltipoo named Celine. Our first and only foster fail.
🟢I’m a triple earth sign born on Earth Day and a hedonist at heart. Gimme good food, baking, building, plants, fresh flowers, lots of champagne, soft sheets and full skin-to-skin contact, please and thanks.
🟢Almost always overdressed in something ridiculous.
