A few weeks back we had a ball playing Monash Big Jazz Day Out Big love to MPAC for having us, and to our special guests Toby Mak on trumpet and Carlo Barbaro on tenor sax for bringing the heat.Also great to see the event get such a nice write-up in The Age — a real credit to Chelsea Wilson’s curation and the great job she did bringing it all together.What a summer we’ve been having… and in July we’ll be heading to the UK to follow the heat for a run of shows ️#cookinon3burners #bigjazzdayout #jazz #soul #funk melbournemusic live uktour

BIG CHOI NEWS! Our breakbeat brother Ivan “Choi” Khatchoyan is stepping back from the CO3B drum chair and we got together last night over a fabulous meal to celebrate the dude. We are so proud of the work we have made together and got mad love for him taking the big move to focus on production and performance for his own projects. As you all know, Choi is an OG member of 29 years of our funky trio and will always be part of the Cookin’ fam - love ya legend!
