What is life frequency ? Artagon Pantin | Présentation des résident·es 2024-2026 - Introducing the 2024-2026 residents | Chloé Sassi 🍎 Le travail de Chloé Sassi prend racine dans une quête de présence augmentée et d’attention à l’autre — qu’il soit humain, ou non, paysage ou végétal. Elle développe une pratique transdisciplinaire fondée sur l’improvisation, la dimension sensuelle, rituelle, relationnelle et participative. En 2021 elle fonde le projet « Somme Sensible », une plateforme collaborative pour créer des expériences de résonance. Elle s’intéresse à la performance dans ses moyens d’adresse et d’interaction directe avec l’audience, et construit des dispositifs comme des « zones de contact ». Dans cette démarche, Chloé Sassi poursuit sa recherche en élaborant des films à la rencontre entre outils somatiques, expérimentations non-verbales et explorations collectives. Ses sujets y évoluent en immersion dans le paysage, en cherchant à s’ouvrir aux forces en présence et à retisser les liens souterrains entre êtres et éléments. Elle vise ainsi à témoigner d’une forme d’élargissement sensoriel qui est aussi à une invitation à sentir. — Chloé Sassi’s work is rooted in a quest for augmented presence and attention to the other - whether human or non-human, landscape or plant. She develops a transdisciplinary practice based on improvisation, sensuality, ritual, relationships and participation. In 2021 she founded the « Somme Sensible » project, a collaborative platform for creating resonant experiences. She is interested in performance in its means of address and direct interaction with the audience, and constructs devices as "contact zones". As part of this approach, Chloé Sassi pursues her research by creating films at the crossroads of somatic tools, non-verbal experimentation and collective exploration. Her subjects are immersed in the landscape, seeking to open up to the forces at work and to reweave the subterranean links between beings and elements. Mobilisant les sens, explorant les formes d’adresse au public, elles mènent une recherche sur la transe comme outil de réenchantement. Par des pratiques duratives de présence, elles visent à accéder à un temps dilaté où le corps devient un vaisseau permettant de rejouer des paysages post-mythologiques. Chaque proposition est pensée de manière in situ, à partir du lieu d’intervention et en collaboration avec lui. Through durational practices of presence, they aim to access to a dilated time where the body becomes a vessel to reenact post-mythological landscapes. Chloé Sassi, finaliste du Prix Carré sue Seine @chloesassi s’intéresse à ouvrir des « invitations à sentir ». Elle construit une démarche transdisciplinaire qui articule techniques somatiques, expériences collectives, films expérimentaux et performances site-specific. Elle créé en 2022 le projet Somme Sensible, une plateforme artistique collaborative et un laboratoire pour créer des espaces de résonance. Elle cherche à explorer et rendre visible ce qu’elle sent être une urgence de notre époque : une réappropriation sensorielle, une zone de contact entre les êtres. Elle approche sa pratique artistique comme une construction d’« agencements » selon la définition d’Anna Tsing : comme des « assemblements toujours ouverts » qui « montrent la possibilité de tisser des histoires à partir de ce qui, toujours, est en train de se refaçonner ». Elle cherche en ce sens à intégrer l’improvisation dans la construction de ses vidéos parce que les agencements ne mettent pas seulement ensemble des modes de vie, ils en fabriquent. Elle témoigne à travers les œuvres d’un état de possible : proposer d’autres façons d’être ensemble, d’être en soi et d’être au monde et modéliser des sociétés alternatives pour générer de nouveaux récits.
