My second home 🫀
This time feels different coming back to Korea. A lot has happened since my last trip 2 years ago. Since then, I’ve learnt more about myself, grown confident in my skills and accepted insecurities, met new people and gained more perspective - all which has helped shape me into who I am currently. I finally feel a sense of belonging here, something I’ve craved for many years. Perhaps it’s the familiarity of the streets, somewhat being able to understand the language and customs or maybe (most likely) the people I have met and continue to see.
Being ‘Korean’ is not instinctual, it is something I’ve learnt over time and continue to learn. It sounds funny ^o^) but I’m enjoying it.
What a special trip this one was, especially with TSP sandwiched in between. But… I’m pretty keen to lock back in XD a lot of exciting things coming up.
Words are not enough. The feelings I experienced on this project will remain with me forever. So inspired by the team, the greater mission, and the creatives around me. Who would’ve thought I’d be filming in the desert with some insane people running from LA-LV, and that I would play a part in telling our story. Thank you thank you thank you thank you.
THE HERDS — what an amazing project to be part of. It’s been TOUGH but we are heading into our last two weeks of tour. Experiencing this glacier has made all of the hard work, sweat and tears more than worth it. No words can describe how I felt up there. It’s definitely kickstarted a future of alpine hiking (I just want to be like Walter Mitty). Let’s run it again!
