This semester I directed a film about my father. My father used to believe in America’s dreams like they were his own. Yesterday, more than half of the country decided that those dreams shall only exist when we lay sleeping. I should be celebrating this week, but my heart is very heavy.
My junior thesis film “Amon” is screening this Sunday, November 10th, at USC Norris Cinema Theatre at 8:30 PM. Beyond grateful to have been able to tell this story about Cote D’ivoire and about love with such a beautiful cast and crew. So many people put so much love into this film and I can’t wait for y’all to experience it.
