#grateful for every opportunity to photograph #pipeline from the water. This evening had it’s moments. Including taking a wide one on the head where my helmet and camera were ripped away from me. Luckily retrieved the camera soon after but the helmet is long gone. Sorry mother ocean for more plastic, I’ll do better next time. #yardsale
During this particular afternoon, the surf and the light were average at best. Not to be discouraged, I swam anyway knowing how quickly things change this time of day, and how the perspective from the water is always different than on land. So many changes and variations of light and water occurred over such a short time, it ended up being really fun.
