Happy 70th Birthday, Daddy!
This picture warms my heart—my siblings and I, all together with our parents again. The last time we were gathered like this was 12 years ago on Bonny Island, at my traditional wedding.
This moment is incredibly emotional for me. Daddy was very sick. We weren’t even sure he’d be well enough for a celebration, and seeing him move around with a walking stick was heartbreaking. Yet, amidst the pain, there was profound joy—joy that he’s still with us, that he made it to see 70, and that we could honor him together.
I’m so grateful that every one of my siblings could drop everything and come back home for this thanksgiving and celebration.
Dear God, thank you.
May it please You that we gather again to celebrate his 80th in ten years.
Happy Birthday, Daddy. We love you deeply.
Every day above ground is a blessing! Making this reel was an opportunity to look back over the last year and count my blessings!
I found they were too numerous to mention...the Lord has been good to me, and wonderful is His name!
Even in challenging situations, His grace is sufficient!
May we continue to push forward constantly reminded that we are children of a Good Father! And His plans for us are for good, to give us hope and a future!
Here's to many more years of gracing this earth with awesomeness 🤸♀️
Last birthday till date - a lot has happened! More than I can fit into pictures or a reel!
Praise be to God from whom all good things come! The Lord has been good to me, and I am eternally grateful for the mercy He shows me!
It has been a year of showing up, doing my part, looking up at beautiful skies, and taking it a day at a time!
God's grace is sufficient!
Here's to many more years of family, friends, love, and light!!!🥳🥂🍻
Visited Ghana 🤸♀️ I've wanted to visit for awhile so I'm glad to have checked it off! I hope to visit more African countries.
We have such beautiful countries with deep heritage! The social, economic and political challenges African countries face distract from this a lot but we can't look away. It is what it is.
The history of slavery and the horrors of it dampen our spirits every time we confront it so I decided to just have fun and celebrate how far we have come as a people. I got such boom pictures on the day! Thanks @orologistics@chefbraakman
Thanks Ghana!
P.S it's my first reel so tolerate me abeg
Visited Imo state in June for a colleague's wedding. Of course we asked what is there to see and do in Imo state. We somehow ended up at the statues!
I gotta say... y'all made it sound really bad on social media but I get what the former governor was going for...sights and things to do. What was lacking in this and with a lot of initiatives in Nigeria is execution and communication. It sucks that the place isn't being maintained, if for no other reason, just so that the funds deployed for this isn't totally wasted.
Ladies & Gentlemen, please why are there so many hotels in Imo State?
The beginning of a new decade!
Birthdays always put me in a reflective mood. The last year has been particularly interesting...I learnt and grew so much and approached this birthday more grateful than ever for my family, friends, the opportunities I've been given and my responsibilities! I take none of it for granted.
Thank you all for the warm wishes, prayers and celebration!
I thank God that has kept me and brought me this far! It is entirely by His grace that I am.
Here's to 30! More awesomeness to come 🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️

My dad told me that anything worth doing is worth doing well. He also wanted us to study professional courses so I always look for professional qualifications to take for anything I venture into!
I was farming in 2016 and taking agric courses, almost did an MSc in Agribusiness 🙈
Passionate about fitness, I got a personal training certification in 2016. My mum says I'm awesome so I strive to prove her right 😁
So naturally when I started working in a Funds/Portfiolio Management company, I started studying and taking the professional course within my purview and budget.
Happily an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS) now 🤸♀️
I'm thankful for my family, friends and colleagues that have encouraged me at every point of this journey!
Choose excellence, choose positivity, choose growth!
I was going to do a post about how I moved to Lagos on the one year anniversary... then never got to it.
Yes...I moved to Lagos in August 2020. Transitioned from Business Admin/Support to Investment Management/Trading operations. It's been a new chapter in my life and career.
It has been challenging, exciting, anxiety inducing, frustrating, lonely, fun and so many other emotions at different points in time.
I've grown and experienced so many things in the last year. I pray the same for all of you...may you experience the abundance of life stages that life has to offer! Don't stay in one spot...learn, grow, develop yourself! Taste the rainbow! It's hard but worth doing!
I will try to share more on what I've been up to but I can't guarantee that 😉 #loveandlight #grow #learn #excel #Lagos
My favourite project 🤸♀️ Lockdown has been less about productivity for me and more about doing things I enjoy - eating, sleeping, exercising, movies & music with a hint of cooking & baking. I barely managed reading novels.
I'm thankful for friends and family that have helped me not panic with all the uncertainties.

If you must go out, please take precautions! It's a matter of law at this point as you will get stopped by the police if you don't have a mask on.
This picture was before the lockdown and the massive escalation in cases...it is even more crucial to take no chances now.
And don't let anyone make you feel like you are doing too much...your healthy, safety and state of mind is your responsibility.
