(~˘▾˘)~ 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐋𝐘: 𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐋 ~(˘▾˘~) a whole freakin year of wiggling every day!! i feel a lot more like myself. that’s the simplest way to explain what this year of wiggles has meant to me. doing this movement diary has monumentally changed the way that i relate to myself, my creativity, and my overall well-being. i am a whole lot braver, and i have more love and trust in my body than ever before. it’s something that people say all the time- but it really does make a difference to show up, in whatever way is achievable for you, as often as possible. a lot of my favorite wiggles actually came out of bad & groggy days, but there’s a different level of honesty in those days where the feelings can’t be hidden, and wiggling almost always helped me set those feelings free. i experience and remember places entirely differently when i get to wiggle in them, and i love feeling the way my body tunes in to a space. it feels like making my own little pocket of time, and dancing through it feels like creating my own existence. get wiggly is the best gift i have ever given myself. it is a dream to be able to create in a way that feels joyful, to feel safe & grounded in my body, to be at home in myself. thank you for being here with me, for taking time to read and watch these wiggles, even if it’s just a short glance— i appreciate you very much. i hope you gift yourself something loving and creative today, and maybe even do a tiny wiggle :) with big wiggly love, C. 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 : the feeling of getting to the other side of one of your fears🖤 • • • #getwiggly #movement #dance #improvisation #wiggle #videodiary #1se #dancer #selfcare #danceimprov #personalpractice #movementresearch #danceartist #dancediary #reflections #trusttheprocess #dancelove #selfcare #moveeveryday #dancevideo #movementexploration
