Not a perfect moment.
Not a polished picture.
Just someone holding on to the Cross.
Because before the resurrection, there was this
the place where everything looked finished, where all you could do was stay and not let go.
That’s what this shoot is about.
Not the celebration yet… but the decision to remain at the Cross, even when you don’t fully understand.
And somehow, that place still leads to life.
People assume all Lawyers like to read,
All doctors are probably masters of blood sightings 😅
And all models love being in front of a camera.
The notion is (models and cameras- 5&6)
The truth? Many of us weren’t and some still aren’t.
A good number of models started off Camera shy and I realized in the long run that it always begins from personality.
As for me, I am naturally reserved, self-aware, and a bit overly conscious of how i am perceived.
And by my default personality, if I am to have a shoot, just 3 people whom I must have bonded with should be in the room ( photographer, makeup artist and myself of course 😅) because that feels safe. Controlled. Familiar.
But then professionalism requires growth.
And growth doesn’t always happen in comfort.
I probably will never do much if I stayed stuck with this personality.
Over time, you’ll learn that those personality can be altered when you address them by asking the inverse of its questions;
“what if I look awkward?” To - what if it doesn’t look awkward
The “what are they thinking?” To- what if they think this pictures are stunning, I think adding more efforts would make it even better
But what REALLY builds the main confidence are these tips :�• Practice in private before showing up in public�• Study your body, your face, your best angles�• Stop chasing perfection but aim for connection�• Build confidence through repetition, not pressure
Again, alottttt of models aren’t always comfortable in front of the camera.
But the good ones?�They learn how to be.
