I've not posted much on here in a long time because 2025 has been a verrrrry eventful year.
• I started my new role as a fully fledged software engineer at Red Hat, working with such wonderful people.
• This led to us finally buying a home of our own.
• A home we bought right as I completed the HDip that started me on this path.
• Then we had some even better news.
• And 2 became 3 as we welcomed our daughter to the world!
It's been one of the most important years of my life and though it's not been without some really significant challenges, I hope that 2026 brings you all some of the same joy I felt this year.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped us through this year. I can't overstate our gratitude.

Working on @ktc.universe has been such a treat and @peltzer.publishing have been fantastic in getting this out there. Yesterday was my last time leaving this room as a teacher at the Waterford Academy of Music and Art. After 8 incredible years I'm moving on to something totally different!
I'd encourage anybody looking for lessons in the Waterford area to check out WAMA. I've seen it be an absolute life-changer for so many people over the years and I was no exception. I'm beyond lucky to have worked there and had such amazing students, fantastic colleagues and the best bosses a person could ask for!
Thanks to everyone I crossed paths with there over the years and I can't wait until the next time I get to pop back in!
Today marks 1 year since the best day of my life. Caoimhe has been making my life better one day at a time for years but I'm still amazed that I'm lucky enough to have gotten married to such a wonderful person. Here's to many many more wedding anniversaries!
I'm playing some Shakuhachi in the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens Tramore tomorrow from about 2pm for any that fancy some traditional Japanese music in a beautiful setting! Pop along for a stroll and a cuppa and take in a really spectacular location. @lafcadio_hearn_gardens #shakuhachi
Came home from work to this surprise! One year engaged today and less than 3 months to our wedding! I know everyone's sick of me saying it, but @caoimhe_mary is incredible and I'm absurdly lucky!
I'm proud to introduce Caoimhe Walsh MSc, MA, BA. Couldn't be more proud of my fiancé for having worked through most of her Master's degree in the midst of Covid! Here's to celebrating such an achievement!
