A lawyer once told me, âI charge $1 for my time and $999 because I know what to do with the time.â
That hit different as a photographer and filmmaker.
Clients arenât paying for the minutes we spend shooting, editing, lighting, or directing.
Theyâre paying for experience, creative vision, technical skill, problem-solving, and the ability to deliver high-quality results fast.
If youâre a creative professional, photographer, videographer, or content creator please price your work based on your expertise, not the clock.
Your value is in your mastery.

đ¸ Capitol Hill moves fast. And my visual do too.
Just dropped a new blog about what itâs really like being a Capitol Hill Day Photographer. From advocacy meetings to hallway conversations that shape policy, every frame tells a story.
Photography in these spaces is not just documentation. Itâs influence, credibility, and history happening in real time.

In some corporate spaces certainty gets mistaken for confidence.
The strongest companies I work with are not the ones who think they have it all figured out.
They are the ones willing to look again and ask better questions.
Certainty feels safe, but curiosity is what actually moves your brand forward. If youâre ready to see your brand from a different perspective, letâs connect.

I was watching a series called âMan on Fireâ on Netflix and the main character said something that stuck with me.
Saving you feels good⌠but it doesnât last.
Anybody can step in, play hero, and fix a moment.
But the people who really matter?
They take time to understand you⌠how you think, how you move, how you respond under pressure.
Thatâs the difference.
One creates dependency.
The other creates growth.
When everything is on the line, donât just look for someone who can rescue you but choose someone who can read you, challenge you, and elevate you.
Because being âsavedâ is temporary.
Being understood will change your life.
I have a few slots for a summer mentorship program that will challenge you and not save you. DM me if you want more information.

I know you LYING đ
Iâm out here locked in on an engagement shoot⌠and a whole bystander just casually walks right through my shot like they part of the scene đ
I still stayed activated. Got every shot I needed anyway.
That 70â200 with the lens hood? Yeah⌠came in CLUTCH. đŻ
Photographers, if youâre looking for a better way to stay organized and inspired during your photo shoots, this is for you. đ¸
Iâve been using Inspra app to plan my shoots, organize my ideas, and pull creative inspiration all in one place. Itâs a game changer when it comes to staying locked in and prepared on set.
If you want the app I use to level up my photography workflow, drop âAppâ in the comments and Iâll send it straight to your DMs.

Youâre closer than you think.
Every post, every share, every time you show upâŚ
youâre building familiarity.
And familiarity builds trust.
People may not say anything yet
but theyâre watching, learning your name, recognizing your work.
Consistency is workingâŚeven when itâs quiet.
Keep showing up.
Youâre not behind⌠youâre being remembered.
Most photographers focus on getting the shot.
The best know when not to.
The Chatham House Rule:
Share the insight, but never the identity.
In certain rooms, your job isnât visibility⌠itâs discretion.
No faces. No tags. No callouts.
Because real access comes from trust and not exposure.
