💫 ONLINE SIZES RESTOCKING IN JUNE ! 🙌
NEW TEE SHIRTS ONLINE! We had a lot of fun designing this one. Silkscreened in Toronto in a limited run of colours and sizes. Loose fit on heavyweight cotton. Pick up in store or have it shipped for $10
🍾 The back design uses the phrase «Brut Nature» the French way of labelling champagnes that have 0 g/L of sugar added. We liked how it sounded in the English too, nature herself being brutal 🌬️☮️ and beautiful with the seasons and cycles of life around us. Each shirt donates $5 to Ontario Streams @ontariostreams - whose projects help care for our province’s waterways. 🌳 🦦💦

BUBBLES ‘N CAKE
SAT, APR 18 //
2 PM ONWARDS
💫 As the ultimate birthday gift, we invite you to bring a non-perishable food item (or $ donation) for the Clearview-Stayner Food Bank! In return, you'll get a delicious slice of birthday cake from Gin’s Kitchen on us. Items in urgent need are: boxes of cereal, peanut butter, jam, pancake mix, and pancake syrup. THANK U.
There's so much more to say ("can't believe it's been two years, how glad we are to be here, etc."), but for now, we'll leave it at "we'll maybe (probably) be popping champagne, the sun will be out, and we look forward to seeing you all soon."
❤️

Today is the day we say "à bientôt!" to the true original that is Griffin. 🍽🧼
Griffin joined us last summer as the clutch in the kitchen - tackling dishes, glasses, and cheeseboards, always with a smile. Though he will be most missed, we are so excited for him as he continues to flex his kitchen skillz over at Chez Michel.
Keep on crushin' it, @thenotoriousglum !
🐇 Weekend wine picks loading 📶. We have got things to say! 👇 OPEN ALL WEEKEND
Domaine des Grottes ’Antidote’: This 0% alcohol sparkling French red is an infusion of organic red grape juice and botanicals. With a vermouth-like aroma of green herbs, citrus zest, and wild red fruit, it is savoury AND food-friendly. Serve chilled in a wine glass and watch the bubbles rise.
Tito is a little Bordeaux-inspired red blend from Chile. A deep ruby red with juicy and fruity structure, with gorgeous labels designed by TO-based artist Laura Dawe.
Marcel Lapierre 2023 Morgon: An age-worthy natural wine from culty Beaujolais vigneron Marcel Lapierre. Think crushed flowers and stone meets vibrant cherry and raspberry, with a lasting impact on the finish. The teensiest bit of oak ageing gives it a broad, but still delicate, feel.
Volare by Andi Mann: Adorned with the Vince Carter Toronto Raptors label, this 1L format bottle is a German red wine, a blend of grapes giving tart cranberry, blackcurrant and pomegranate, with a snappy almost peppery seasoning. Light and airy, this is uber quaffable, spillable, and an unmissable shot.
Our new Sancerre: While our beloved rosé is almost gone, a new Sancerre white has entered the chat. Our most springy white, practically bursting with scented flowers, kiwi, lime, passion fruit and flint. Lip-smacking but dry, with that electric Sancerre style finish. Highly recommended - so yummy!
Prima Pavé Rosé Brut: A de-alcoholized wine from Friuli, Italy. With colour from skin-contact, this dry and pink bubbly needs a good chill to bring notes of white strawberry, blood orange, and candied rhubarb. It’s dry and we mean it. Melts away the richness of pancakes with maple syrup or a salty cheesy pesto tartlette at brunch.
Mon Sot Mignon orange wine: A white wine with some extended crushed grapes skin contact, lending a little colour, tannic grip and bitterness to this white wine. 50/50 Sauv Gris and Pinot Gris from the Loire, this has a piquant tangerine core and salted plum crème brûlée notes. It’s true! Serve chilled with a cheese platter and hang some art.
If you made it this far, also appreciate our Seed Library and new seasonal wreath!
🗯️Some news –
Yes, Kieran has been in the UK visiting family, sipping champagne in.... Champagne, and also... signing a lease!
With our incredible revenues and the shockingly profitable margins on natural wine bottles to-go, we are opening a second location on the prestigous Royal Crescent of Bath specializing in English pet nat and outdoor hiking gear – a real dream come true. Mill Street in Creemore remains our flagship store!
🚨 Posted April 1st. Happy #aprilfools 2026?!?! Didn't expect this reaction or outpouring of love and concern, but do not worry! We are Mill Street til the bitter end. ❤️
Women have been an integral part to a LOT of the best drinks (wines, beers, etc) out there, and a lot of what's on our shelves. But few are visibly so.
Most women are behind-the-scenes doing the labour that makes everything WORK, often without credit (historically, absolutely. Still so today? Oh yes). Historically, the man's name is on the bottle - but who were/ARE the brains, the caregivers, the manual labour, the wits who helped make their names iconic? We must continue to uplift all women in food and hospitality doing the brilliant and hard work that they do.
Thank you to the wonderful women we work with, the women who we have shared their skills and stories with us, the women who have come into the shop and laughed and cried, and the women who make Creemore the rare community that is. We need women-led communities around the world today more than ever.
✨️ More respect to the women winemakers, somms, those who work the land, sales reps, partners, deliveries and logistics - to all the women in a traditionally patriarchal wine world, making it a better place.
