On International Day of Families, we honor the families in our Children International communities around the world. Parents, caregivers, volunteers and our staff work together every day to support children’s well-being and help them move toward brighter futures.
This year’s theme, “Families, Inequalities and Child Wellbeing,” highlights how unequal access to resources and opportunities continues to shape what’s possible for too many children and families. That’s why we partner with families to help close those gaps, providing the support and opportunities that make long-term change possible.
Give today and change a family's life.

Every young person deserves to have access to meaningful work. Through our Into Employment program, Children International is helping youth build the skills, training and connections they need to enter the workforce and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Behind every child building a better future is someone showing up for them every day.
This Mother’s Day, we celebrate mothers - and all those who take on that role - for the love, strength and guidance they give children to help them thrive.

What happens when a young person is given the support to think beyond today?
This month’s youth spotlight features Nasreen in India, who is turning an uncertain future into a clear goal through our Life Skills sessions. She’s building confidence, strengthening decision making and working toward her dream of becoming a writer.
“I want to fly as high as the sky and reach my dreams.”
This is how we support children and youth as they build their own paths and create a better future.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we invite you to pause and take a breath. For the children we serve, being able to regulate their emotions and feeling supported is essential. It helps them grow, learn and build a path out of poverty.

Last chance to give to Children International on Global Pay It Forward Day! Encouragement changes everything – just ask the Children International youth in Colombia that Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter Carlos Vives surprised last fall during their orchestra rehearsal. Today is Global Pay It Forward Day and we’re thinking about the many young people who are thriving because of our supporters who have done just that.
Adrian (age 7) is one example. He could not read, write or do basic math until our educational resources helped him become the most improved student in his class. Milestones like these remind us how powerful empowering others can be. On this special day, reach out to someone who made an impact on you and tag them here in our comments. Also consider donating to Children International with a gift in their name. Link to give in bio.

On Global Pay It Forward Day, we’re celebrating the people and moments that inspire us to make a difference – and the supporters who’ve taken time to do so for the children and youth we serve. For instance, Will Pizzolato rode his motorcycle across North America to raise nearly $8,000 for Children International.
How do you pay it forward? Comment and let us know. Consider joining the journey with us! Link to give in bio.
