Recently, our CEO Tom Evans visited a warm and welcoming church in Nashville. While he was there, he noticed two kids who kept walking by with big smiles. He thought, “What friendly kids!”
A little later, they came up to him, grinning from ear to ear, and handed him an envelope.
Inside was $104.
Lilah and Oliver had recently watched a Child Impact video about children being forced to make bricks from mud. Deeply moved, they decided to do something about it.
Just days earlier, they had set up a lemonade stand, and after seeing the video, they chose to donate all the proceeds to Child Impact and support our Free a Family initiative.

Speaking in a second language in front of others isn’t easy, but as students in Bangladesh began their debate, confidence grew. Voices got stronger.
They explored how social media connects the world while also impacting mental health, and truly engaged with the topic. At the end, students were recognized for their effort and performance, which brought a sense of pride and accomplishment.
