It was my first AMVCA so I honestly didnāt know what to wear, how to act or even how to turn up š Anxiety got the best of me and I tried so hard to hide it. At some point, I was genuinely asking myself, āwhat am I even doing here?ā The outfits, the glam, the presenceā¦ everybody looked unreal.
Meanwhile I had just gotten off clinic š I looked so tired but I couldnāt say no to this opportunity. And honestly, Iām glad I didnāt.
Then it hit meā¦ if Iām in the room, then Iām meant to be there too.
For my first AMVCA experience, it was beautiful. A little overwhelming, a little nerve-racking, but beautiful. Seeing so many creatives, actors and influencers in one space was inspiring. This definitely feels like the first of many ā¤ļø
