Dream come true moment - 15.10.2025✨🧿 What an incredible incredible feeling it is to be here with the team representing our roots and culture. Thank you to the universe for bringing this together for us. These girls have my whole heart, I don’t know how we could have pulled this off without a team who put so much effort and love into these dance pieces. Not only was the performance the most magical thing, every rehearsal and prep for this was just as fun and exciting. Incredibly grateful to have been part of a group that cheer for each other with only love. A full circle moment ✨ 2014: I had the opportunity to be a part of Kala Master’s troupe, an experience I’ll never forget. I was in complete awe. She was exactly as I had seen her on TV: deeply passionate, genuinely caring toward her dancers, and uncompromising when it came to the art. The moment she placed me to dance at the front, it felt like I had passed an unspoken test, I was (in my eyes) a ‘Kala Master–approved’ dancer. Thank you @vas24 @hishyjega for giving me the chance and including me in the pool of dancers that auditioned for Kala Master. 2026: This time, Kala Master didn’t just watch our performance, came up on stage, shared her comments, called out our choreography, and awarded us ‘Title Winner’. It was an honour to showcase our Chandramukhi themed performance in front of the original choreographer who created that masterpiece. Taking a moment to truly absorb this and feel grateful, for the journey, for the growth, and for the chance to express myself in front of @kalamaster_official both as a dancer and a choreographer. Our winning performance at the @nadanakalastar competition this weekend 🏆 Still have no words to describe the experience and to have received this award by @kalamaster_official herself just feels crazy to say this out loud. I have always been in awe of @chiinthusarvan ‘s choreographies but this particular piece has to be one of her most unique, mind blowing and eye catching concepts she’s ever created and I feel so honoured to have finally been a part of it. The amount of hard work us girls put in to make this routine a spectacle is unimaginable and I’m so proud that our efforts got recognised on such a stage. I know I say this every time but I will say it again, SUPER SUPER grateful for being part of the Annam family and it’s only upwards from here. THANK YOU @kalamaster_official 🙏🏽✨ We’ve grown up watching Kala Master share her feedback on shows like Jodi No1 and Maanada Mayilada, she’s always been larger than life to us. An icon in Tamil cinema, a trailblazer for choreographers, and such a powerful inspiration for women in this field. So for Team Annam to receive her comments in person and that too for our Chandramukhi concept… it didn’t feel real. It was one of those moments you dream about, and I’m honestly still soaking it all in! And the ladies, they didn’t just perform, they felt every beat. All the hours of rehearsals, the effort, the passion, it all came alive on stage. They completely owned it, and I couldn’t be prouder. This is also the second time this choreography has taken first place, which makes it even more special! First place — awarded by Kala Master ✨ Still buzzing with pride as Team Annam took home first place at the Nadana Kala Star Competition last night. The girls delivered an absolutely incredible performance! When Kala Master stepped on stage and gave us the iconic “Kizhi Kizhi Kizhi,” it already felt like a win, the actual first prize was the cherry on top! A huge shoutout to our amazing dancers @apiankaaaa @kobithavickneswaran @rags.raj @shaks_bharatham @sowmya_3005 @vishsquish they truly smashed it. From rehearsals to formations to handling every bit of planning and logistics, this win is all theirs. So well deserved! All we wanted was to present our chandramuki themed piece in front of Kala Master, but we came home with something so amazing.
