Artificial Sweetness 🍉✨ We made this shoot super glossy and over the top on purpose. It’s fun, it pops, it looks sweet enough to eat… but it’s not real life. Just a reminder that what we create in this world of visuals is meant to entertain, inspire, maybe even make you smile but life behind the lens is always messier (and way less shiny). ✨🙈
One year older, one brand shoot bolder ✨
This year, we kept gravitating toward the color red. Sure, it’s one of our brand colors - but looking back through these photos, it feels like so much more. Red has mirrored this chapter for us: a little bolder, a little more confident, a little more seen, and always authentically us.
As a business (or even as individuals), we’ve found that doing yearly shoots is such a powerful way to express ourselves. Sometimes it’s not until you see the photos reflected back at you that you realize what you’ve been trying to say—or who you are in this chapter.
And for those who’ve been with us from the beginning—back when our very first “baby photoshoot” took place at the OG Cinemaker space with nothing but a tan backdrop—yall are the real ones haha 🫶🏽

2025 taught me to lean into life and find joy in learning new things. I allowed myself to be a beginner again, without rushing the process, without needing to be “good” right away, and without turning every new thing into something I had to prove. I tried, I stumbled, I learned, and I grew… and somehow that became the most freeing thing.
It was also the year I turned 30 (still kind of surreal?) and became an aunt to my sweet niece Suzu, a joy I didn’t even know I needed. Watching life get bigger through family, through love, through the small moments… it shifted something in me.
This year, I finally understood the concept that life is about the journey, not the destination. Not just as a quote, but as something I could actually feel and live. Building a business, improving my relationships, showing up with more intention, and stepping into a new era of myself, “my 30s” I guess. And honestly, I’m kind of loving it here. I feel more grounded, more curious, and more open than I’ve been in a long time.
Thank you, 2025, for the lessons, the growth, the new beginnings, and the reminders to keep choosing joy. 🤍✨

Two weeks into chemo, I stepped into a CINEMAKER studio with Chie, Tiffany, Zachariah, and Natalie to document a moment I’ll never forget. Born and raised in East Austin, I care deeply about protecting the spaces where artists can still show up as themselves.
We’re just shy of 50% of our year-end goal which, in nonprofit math, means we’re somehow doing great and sweating all at once.
HOWEVER, nonprofits like ours DO matter because without real working artists, Austin is just heat, traffic, and expensive tacos.
Enjoy these photos, they mean so much to me. Leading this organization means so much to me! Endless thanks to everyone involved.
