loud, layered, and always full of life.
Spent part of my Easter weekend at the Fanti Carnival and it was more than just a good time.
A celebration of culture, history, and the legacy of Afro-Brazilian returnees that shaped parts of Lagos as we know it today.
And in the middle of all that colour, music and movement…
I found myself thinking how lovely it is to discover your city in a new way, especially one I’ve never experienced before.
Good food, beautiful chaos, and a reminder that there’s so much of Lagos still left to explore.
