🩸So I started this series on Deadly Alliance👵🏾, The first fighting game I ever begged my parents for bc my bestie had it for xbox growing up & we would play on blood max😂It’s been a while since I indulged in the MK lore but this movie didn’t disappoint me whatsoever. I got to check out an early screening (&&&& any chance I get to dress like a fighting game character I take 🫡)& getting to see all these characters again was the best nostalgia soup. I immediately recognized the stages from the game, fave part fr so many beautiful backgrounds, pulled straight from the games.

Highly recommended especially if you enjoyed the game…Genki is showing us the true meaning of a live action game adaption & the key here is IMMERSION. Watching this felt more like a interactive *experience more than it felt like watching a movie, one you go see with the homies so everyone can “play along” 🍿 🎮
