travel diaries — bali 🌴🌊🎞
it’s our third time visiting bali — sharing our accoms, experiences, shopping and food recommendations in Sanur & Ubud!
🧳 accommodation
• Asvara Luxury Resort & Spa Ubud by Ini Vie Hospitality — one bedroom villa with private pool & jacuzzi. it’s located in the kelusar area, which is quite far from ubud centre, but we really enjoyed our stay as it was clean, comfortable and very relaxing.
🍵 shopping
• homeware from asia ceramic ubud (search on google maps),
@kevalaceramics &
@magitahomedeco
• keychains & tote bags from
@nature_dream_bali
🍃 experiences
• 16-course dining experience at Locavore NXT
@locavorenxt — a hyper-local restaurant with a rooftop forest and underground mushroom chamber. the tasting menu features ingredients fully sourced in Indonesia and every dish was thoughtfully curated
• local market tour and private cooking class
@plataran.ubud — also available on klook, but cheaper to book directly with the hotel (whatsapp to inquire)
• 2-hour handbuilding pottery class
@clayplaybali — for IDR450k, you get to create and bring home two pieces (includes firing & glazing). you can also top up for international shipping as the pieces will be ready after ~4 weeks
🍽 food in sanur
• fish and chips from
@fishermansclubsanur
• garlic prawns & paella from
@pescadobali
•
@balitreebar — drinks and light bites, nice spot to chill by the beach
•
@byrdhousebali — outdoor seating with a view of the waves, a nice spot to unwind
