Experience is the best teacher. Very popular saying manifested through motherhood!!!
My name is Chioma, a wife, mother and entrepreneur. Before now, I was a serious working class lady until motherhood came. And reality set in.
I became a fish farmer in 2020. Running my own ponds. I received a 50% discounted Klin from the federal government. This helps to dry my fishes properly and sand free. This helped me diversify my market, I sell to those that need fresh (cat fish) and to those that needs dried ones.
As a wife, am solely responsible for my husband. What he eats, how neat he appears, pay attention to his personal needs.
As a mother of 2 (plus one one the way), my productive days starts at 5am. Prepare the kids for school, take them to school myself, help with their homeworks, answer their daily 1000 questions.
For my home, I recently hired a help, whose job is mostly laundry and cleaning the house when the kids are in school.
In my farm, I have workers who helps harvest the fishes, dry and and ship out for sales.
I am the first to wake up and the last to go to bed. Though I have aids, but supervision, follow ups, correcting, birthing new ideas all falls on my shoulders.
Let me also add, that am a student, on my second masters degree program.
How do I achieve all these? I also ask myself that. But, I guess it's a trait every passionate, dedicated and determined good mother/wife has. The ability to multi task.

This grant will be channeled to my fish feeds. The cost of feed is almost chasing me out of business. I also still invite consultants to coach me better. All these are money consuming.
Thanks so much, for helping me to recount and appreciate my endless efforts. This write up has awaken the awareness once again. And, I must say am super proud of myself.
