One year since we adopted Macie ✨
Watching her learn and adapt over the past year has been the sweetest gift. She’s our little genius Matilda. But a version of Matilda who is scruffy, has loving parents, a big brother who is her hero, and instead of psychic powers she’s blind. If she could read she’d totally get herself a library card to learn about all the sounds she hears all day. And if she could stand on a chair in the kitchen to make herself pancakes, she absolutely would.
