October: catching the last of the fall foliage upstate at Wildflower Farms, visiting the John Wilson exhibition at the Met, cozy brunches and dinners with friends, and some movement with Pilates. 🍁🍃
Took a couple of day trips from Lisbon and ventured out to the coast — Cascais and Sintra.
In Sintra, I got wonderfully lost wandering the mystical grounds of Quinta da Regaleira, then had lunch in a garden restaurant overlooking the ocean… the views were absolutely breathtaking.
Cascais was a dream — vintage seaside houses, winding roads, golden beaches, and a pace of life that felt beautifully slow. Watching locals enjoy the moment with good food, wine, and nature was a reminder to do the same.
Highlights? Definitely the House of Santa Marta and the dramatic cliffs of Boca do Inferno. 🌊💫

Portugal was the perfect way to wrap up my summer—so full of beauty, history, and culture.
In Lisbon, I loved exploring the Tile Museum, soaking in panoramic views from the Miradouro de Santa Luzia, browsing the creative shops at LX Factory, wandering the charming tile-paved streets, indulging in pastéis de nata, and sipping on traditional green wine.
One of the highlights was experiencing a live Fado performance over dinner—Portugal’s most iconic and soulful musical tradition. Truly unforgettable. #lisbon #portugal
Food appreciation post:
If you know me, you know there’s nothing I love more than sharing a great meal with friends and family. This weekend, I had the pleasure of sitting down with loved ones for a dinner that was both delicious and nostalgic.
Mango Bay served the perfect fusion of Caribbean and African flavors. The mussels came in a sauce that was savory, tangy, and sweet all at once—absolutely unforgettable. The coconut curry crab and oxtail were standout dishes too.
Growing up in a Jamaican household, this meal felt like home. The perfect way to kick off Labor Day weekend. 🇯🇲🍽️✨#Jamaican #foodie
