“You told me once that talking was just peculiar
form of breathing. It was posh breathing for humans, you said. And that singing was something deeper and richer and stranger and more incredible.
You told me that scientists had started to think, when they studied the vocal cords of the earliest human
beings, that hunter-gatherers sung before they
spoke. They didn’t live so close together. They
weren’t so many of them. They needed to communicate over long distances. So we are animals born to sing more than we’re animals born to talk.
It sounded unlikely, to me.
But I liked the way you said it.”

從《So Far, So…》到《Song From FAR Away || FAR Away From Song》;

WHAT DREAMS MAY COME IN THE SLEEPLESS NIGHT in Lepzig

Also big thanks to @ariteperberg and @jomas_tanypka without you guys this project won’t exists.
Also thank you for @octavian.chan@iron.ronald.lam for helping me on the research while I was in Hong Kong.
Hope we will meet again soon!
Currently re-working on the show. Rework is a precious process, but it’s also tough. Constantly spotting problems and working on making things better.
Can I just stick with the old one? It works, right? Can I not change? Will the change destroy the one that was “working”? It’s like a mental battleground. It’s all about learning about the world and yourself. When you’re in the zone and just get a little bit more clarity, it gives you so much energy. I guess that’s what it means to “create” – not to get stuck with what you know, but to create space for the “new” to come in and for the “truth” to be seen.
“WHAT DREAMS MAY COME IN THE SLEEPLESS NIGHT” is a physical theatre solo that merges movement, materials and text to explore the void between past and future.
On sleepless nights, the world around feels intensely private, as if he is the only one who exists. The room becomes a threshold - a liminal zone where past, present and future collide. Here is the battleground where forgotten thoughts, memories and unresolved emotions resurface to challenge.
It is a journey navigating through labyrinth of the mind, tangled in the threads of conflicting thoughts and desires. In the chaos of today’s world - torn by political conflict and uncertainty - what dreams can come in a sleepless night?

“What Dreams May Come in the Sleepless Night”
A solo performance that navigates the disquiet of insomnia as a threshold between personal and collective memory. This body—restless, searching—moves through a landscape of suppressed memories, unprocessed emotions, and unspoken feelings. Here, in the stillness of night, we meet a self suspended in-between: between wakefulness and sleep, presence and absence, belonging and exile.
Premier : April 2025 @accademiadimitri
