hello!!!!! we have been fortunate enough to have had the most wonderfully busy and unforgettable *almost* two years following the release of our debut album Take It Or Leave It and Emer joining in the February of 2024. Emer has brought something so special to this band that we will carry with us forever. Her musicianship and talents are unmatched and we cannot even begin to thank her for the time and dedication she has put into this thing since joining. In the last couple of months we have been having some very heartfelt conversations about the future and curation of the next project. As Emer has recently relocated to London, ultimately the outcome of the conversation was that right now it is not possible for Emer to continue with Cherym. <\3 Going forward us (Hannah and Alannagh) will be continuing on with Cherym as a two piece. We’re currently working on the next project that we cannot wait for you all to hear, we will make a separate post about this in due time but for now… EVERYONE SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION FOR EMER MCLAUGHLIN 👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️ Emer we love you, thank you for everything x Emer’s message: Hey friends, For now I’m going to be taking a step back from CHERYM, it has been one of greatest pleasures of my life getting to be a part, and work with this band for the last two years. Every song, every show has been a joy; getting to connect with so many of you, and being shown so much support along the way has been magical. CHERYM fans are truly the best in the worldddd I can’t express how grateful I am for the love and joy you have shown me.
