My biggest blessing is graduating soon and heading home. These four years went by so fast. From freshman year to year four, I’ve been super proud of his journey. Thank you, God, for covering him. Zion is ready to run his race! 🎓🙌🏾 #Zion #Syracuse #ClassOf2026

24 hours in Baltimore road tripping to see #Fantasia and #AnthonyHamilton - The sign language interpreter 🤟🏾was a show within the show and #JimmysFamousSeafood did not disappoint. Amen. 🙌🏾🎶🎤🦀❤️
Our hearts are full as we reflect on the beautiful homegoing service for Shana Nequai Taylor King at Abyssinian Baptist Church. To our beloved Susan @iamsusanltaylor : you have poured so much love into the world collectively and into each of us individually. Your Essence, Brooklyn CARES, and National CARES, families surround you with that same light. We love you, Susan, and stand with you, Khephra, Bernard, Amina and your entire family in honoring Shana’s memory and light. 🙏🏾✨

✨ The trajectory of excellence.
I’ve watched Brooke-Lynn grow from a spark of immense potential into a true dance powerhouse.
Her recent performance at The Ailey School 2026 Explosion was nothing short of outstanding—she didn’t just perform; she commanded that stage.
As a Stars of New York Dance scholarship recipient, made possible by the generosity of the Charles H. Revson Foundation, Brooke-Lynn is the definition of focused. She is skilled, determined, and clearly committed to turning her dreams into reality.
And the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. This photo captures a bond that spans generations. From the days her mom @muumba7 and I spent dancing at church and training for leadership to seeing Brooke-Lynn take that same torch today—it is a beautiful, full-circle legacy.
Brooke-Lynn is taking this further than we ever imagined, with the support of her entire beloved family and community.
She is preparing the ground for the next generation of dancers, and I couldn’t be prouder to see her leading the way. 🩰✨
