Happy International Design Day to all who celebrate — and frankly we all should! Today designers everywhere are pausing to reflect on a simple but powerful question: why does design truly matter? Over the past several weeks, SEGD CEO @cybelle_jones_designjoy sat down with leaders from across architecture, branding, experiential design, and cultural institutions. Brava to a most extraordinary 48 hours in Omaha, where I had the honor of moderating “The World of Color”, an exploration of the art, science, culture, and emotion of color. The expert panel included @leatriceeiseman @kassiastclair and @colorcast (Karen Schloss). We dissected, defined, debated and generally held forth in a lively and wide-ranging conversation about the impact of color on our hearts, brains, history and culture.
