Two rear extensions designed side by side, each shaped by its own brief 🏡 🏡
Located in the Dulwich Estate Conservation Area, these zinc-clad additions reflect the distinct needs of two neighbouring families while meeting the strict design and height guidelines of the conservation area.
Though identical in form and materials externally, the internal layouts respond individually — one with a contemporary open-plan space, the other with a more traditional arrangement and detailing.

A small detail that connects the old house to the new 📚✨
At this Dulwich extension, we retained the original rear door opening sizes between the existing and new spaces.
Joinery conceals the pitched extension roof behind. In one opening it becomes a bookshelf. In the other, a simple display shelf.
A quiet move, but one that carries the character of the original house into the light-filled extension 🏡
