I have never felt so revitalized by food, nature, sunshine, soaking in onsens & warm hospitality 🥹🍵 a big highlight of this trip for me was enjoying traditional Kaiseki & Japanese breakfasts. I searched the web for hours to find an inn with the best food 😹 the grounds had magical gardens & just down the road at the foot of the mountains there were plains covered in pampas grass 🌼 it felt like something I had dreamed of before 💭 I feel so lucky 🤍☀️🍣🍱

I wrote this lyric as part of a verse I added to a cover song
“spend my days in the sun
thought they had gone away
they’ve only begun”
in reference to my meditation practice. I used to think with practicing meditation I would arrive at some sort of enlightened destination but instead I’ve learned it’s a continual life commitment to expansion.
The sun is my favorite environment to practice presence but it’s also a metaphor for the practice as a whole. I’ve always posed the two side by side because when you’re in intense sun or heat it’s natural to preserve your energy with stillness. I’ve found that this strategy works well in life too, especially when enduring hard or confusing times.
I wanted this song to sound powerful & intense like the sun but remain hopeful & warm the way complete presence does 💛☀️🧎🏻♀️🪷🙏

Rare Flower is a reflection of my spiritual growth from when I started producing music in 2023 until now. As someone who has always loved music, concerts, singing in school chorus and playing around on my Grandma’s piano, but was never a “trained musician,” having my own body of work to share with the world feels completely surreal.
Learning music production has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. In some ways, I never felt completely alive until I started working with this powerful energy, though in the back of my mind I always felt a deeply rooted calling to it. It’s brought me so much peace to be able to express myself through sound, and it’s led me to friends, opportunities, and places I would’ve never found without it 🤍🌎
Flowers have always been a big source of inspiration for me in life, especially in these past few years as I navigate my Saturn return. Flowers appear delicate but withstand rain, wind, and intense sun, all while remaining effortlessly beautiful. Each year they shed their petals, then bloom again season after season, to dazzle the world with their vibrant light. Their resilience fascinates me and is a constant reminder to open my heart more & more to the world 🪷🙏
Electronic music has been a source of inexplicable comfort in my life for 10 years. It has rooted me in this world and keeps my heart beating day after day after day. It’s one of my most sacred spiritual practices which has led me to my career, my purpose, and the interconnectedness I sense between everyone and everything. It has taught me my reason for being: feed the world, worship music 🙏🤲🏼
