The first shoot with the ever-dynamic Shivam Dubey was full of power and presence — effortless charm both on and off camera.

PLATE BREAKING CEREMONY
Sharing Glimpse of Our Russian Movie Start with a Beautiful Russian Film Industry ritual called the “Plate Breaking Ceremony”. This ritual is quite common in Russian and Eastern European film productions. 🎬
At the start of a film shoot, the production team brings a ceramic plate on which the names of the key Heads of Departments (HODs), director, producers, and the film title are written.
The plate is then shown to the entire crew at the beginning of the shoot. The director holds it and then throw and broke it intentionally.
Each major crew member (HODs) picks up a piece of the broken plate and keeps it.
This ritual symbolizes:
* Good luck for the production
* Unity of the crew
* Sharing the responsibility of the film
Each person keeping a piece means that everyone carries a part of the film’s journey and its also a souvenir of the project.

Today, we are humbled to share a milestone that feels both surreal and deeply meaningful. As a Production Designer representing India, We have the honor of contributing to an Indo-Hollywood feature film collaboration between US-based Red Bison Productions and Mumbai-based Azure Entertainment — marking Azure Entertainment’s first Hollywood partnership.
Written and directed by Harsh Mahadeshwar, this untitled feature — inspired by a true story — explores the emotional and cultural journey of an immigrant family navigating life beyond the traditional idea of the American Dream. Starring Priya Mani and Mohit Raina, the film will be shot across New York and New Jersey, with key portions filmed in Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir, with filming scheduled to begin in April 2026.
Being trusted with the responsibility to bring creative vision, cultural sensitivity, and design storytelling to an international platform is something we will always cherish.
