It’s rare for me to write about my day job around here, but for once I got to do something that matters to me personally. I did the Spanish translations and contributed to corrections and a bit of research (very little) for the catalog of the exhibition on Ecuadorian pre-colonial art currently on display at the Art and History Museum of Brussels.
I love the unassuming geometry and humble presence of these objects. There are also some beautifully sculpted ocarinas that mimic, with painstaking sharpness, the internal structure of seashells , as well as the original whistle vases that have recently caught the attention and inspiration of contemporary musicians and dear friends :))))
The hectic recent days prevented me from writing this post. Sorry for that!
On Sunday {26/10} ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ the rosa marga crew (a people made of @droperiofrio and myself) was invited to play by the sweet people of @fenetre_ovale , @bruitbatonmusic and @fanny.testas at Brasserie Atlas, in the context of the exhibition “The Tuning of the Afterworld.”
BA is one of my dream venues in Brussels. When we started with Pedro, I even had the nerve (which I rarely have) to ask if we could play a gig there. I am very grateful to Fanny, the exhibition curator, and the whole crew for this great chance.
This time, I got lost talking to many friends and was not “malin” enough to gather many pictures of the performance. I only have these ashen remnants of a very pleasant evening.

ヽ(♡‿♡)ノ Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve visited this platform—and admittedly, the way I use it is entirely unconventional. I treat it more like an archive or personal diary, where emotions surface in a space otherwise dedicated to commodifying our every gesture. I have preferred to publish much less and communicate with the tribe in cafés and private messages.
But today, I come bearing memories of recent concerts: the fabulous Thomas Lehn, the duo Singularity A.I. @lovepills_singularity and Aek @nora_ephelide_kaaa and the unforgettable apparition of Marx and Engels incarnated as magnificent dub DJs on May 7th. Programminge this date at Atelier Claus @lesateliersclaus was a true coup de cœur. I’m thrilled everything went so well—a packed room, a warm atmosphere, and a reminder that Claus remains a haven for creative freedom and good vibes.

I found my old camera at the bottom of one of those boxes where I can even keep the oddest fruits of oblivion. On Sunday, November 24th, I was lucky to contribute with my music in an event organised in solidarity with the Soulèvements de la Terre movement. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Quentin Nicolaï @quentin.nicolai and the welcoming team of conscientious friends for inviting me and feeding me with delicious food ♡ ～('▽^人) Marie, Hélène, Hélène's mum, Lyna, Montse, Gabrielé, Camille, Anastasia, Dodi, Aurèle, Louis, Bastien and Quentin again! (・_・)ノ~ヾ(・ω・)Performing live is a rare event in my life and always represents a challenge as well as the creation of a special moment. I was thrilled to share the stage with Mutatito, the solo guitar project of my friend Ukko Perttilä, who stole the show, and with the phenomenal Beninese trumpeter Ericamour Yovogan.
