Some thoughts on why I think the “club culture is dying” in LA. Add to the fact that people are scared that ICE will kidnap them, people are still heartbroken and devastated from the fires that happened earlier in 2025, and the political climate in general.
Started off as a response to @azure.fm ‘s video (also fellow ny girlie that moved to la), but figured I would just share this because I’ve been ruminating about it ever since I moved here.

I haven’t posted in a long while and I caught the “let’s make a 2025 recap post” bug so here we are
2025 was simultaneously one of the fuckin hardest years of my life and yet some of the joyous. I officially became a game audio programmer after much blood sweat and tears (a lot of tears), I got into producing more and finally feel comfortable with a daw, moved in with my love @jayxvee_ and we grew our lil kitty family hehe. Oh and I’m gonna be an auntie for the first time really soon!! 😭
Shoutout to the real ones (IYKYK), I unfortunately didn’t have pics of everyone I wanted to post but I am super grateful for all the homies and family that kept me sane this year, I love u all sm!!!
2026 I’m going beast mode. I’m gonna kick ass as a game audio programmer and ship audio improvements to a game played by over 100 million players a month worldwide. I’m gonna tap into this producing bag and find my own sound. And most of all do all this with the foundation of loving music and the community that surrounds it. And maybe throw some parties again with @isoulation.co 👀 hehe
