Thinking about all the projects I did with @ilysparkplug . Here is a giant bunny chandelier we built for @letshopscotch . This was when we started calling each other honey buns . We built it at the second shop we shared together in Austin Texas.
We built many things before this project and many things after . This was a giant steel welded head with diachro film acrylic. Was a very difficult time in my life but showing up and building art with my shop wife saved my life many times. 🩵🩵

One year later Im ready to share some of my art from Meow Wolf Houston :) I designed and built this motorcycle camping installation with some talented friends. This is a tribute to my motorcycle journey that left me stranded in Baton Rouge racing against an incoming hurricane . This is full size - installed on a 45 degree tilt floor over your head 😈
Happy end of 2023 … end of using my own potatoes and @ilysparkplug ‘s potatoes to lift stuff and welcome to 2024 where we are 15 ton crane certified and don’t have to lift anything heavy again !! 🥲
I was just reminded of this commission piece I built a couple years ago for an incredible performer in Puerto Rico. Welded steel frame, Wrapped Kevlar ends, patina aluminum details, leather and aluminum body straps. I Had an incredible time working art ops for #artwithmemiami . I was honored to be on crew with @lostcreationsart . It’s hard to describe the short (comparatively speaking) build that all happened on Virginia key island off of Miami. We had to deal with flooding, crazy rainstorms, tide changes, salt, sand and heat. This team totally crushed it and we got to watch @jamie___xx kill it with an incredible set! So much work goes into these kinda events Im ready to sleep for days now :) #queerbuilders #artwithme
I was honored to work on a badass team of builders, painters and artists for lost lands 2022. We built this bone altar which is an octagon pergola and seating area. The best part about it? Modular design so it strikes in pieces and can be rebuilt with ease . Thank you @lostcreationsart for having me, way to go @sundaychops on the engineering design . Before and after photos of a 40?ft San Antonio metro bus remodel. We added lots of interior and exterior outlets- doubled insulation and made “removable” window panels for a mobile MOHA venue.
