I’m relieved to announce that my photobook “Echoes” is now published and will be on display at TAINAN PHOHO GO (1-3 dec) and @fotobookdummiesday (15-17 Dec). This book compiles 100 pages of my day-to-day photos taken between 2022 to 2023, including two pages of text (written in English so that everyone can read it), explaining the motivations behind my obsession with documenting my own life.
The book represents my personal desire to fight against oblivion, as well as my portrayal of the relationship I’m experiencing and my observations toward others’. If you’re interested, please come take a look; I’m sure it won’t disappoint.
More places for display and purchase are on the way. For more information and pre-orders, use the link in my bio or DM me.

Echoes.

I sprained my right ankle just a day before the marathon I’d been training for all year. So instead of racing, I had to resign myself to “chilling,” running at a conversational pace with my professor. At around the 35 km mark, I had this sudden realization that maybe the injury wasn’t as bad as I’d thought (or as the doctors had told me), and I knew I didn’t want any regrets. I took one last photo, waved a quick but sincere goodbye, and started sprinting. Faster and faster without ever looking back, until it finally felt like flying. I didn’t get to break the goal I had set, but I ran the most incredible final 3 km I’d ever run.
I wish for a life exactly like this race.
Some Polaroids in Berlin from last month. The photo on the wall is from last October. There’s always something about a picture within a picture that gets to me, the idea of time layering over itself.
