DEAR STROLLER (AKA: Pram),
You weren’t just a pram for our family, you were a lifeline, a caregiver. You carried our child, our snacks, our grocery bags, and 90% of our sanity.
From international adventures to quick errands in the city, it always somehow turned into full-blown “I can’t walk, carry me!!!” protest, but you were always there, silently, doing the hard work.
You saw us through airport sprints, narcolepsy , tantrums, spills, and everything in between. You rolled so our family could stay on the run. Honestly… you did more parenting than we did some days.😏🤪🤦🏾♂️ #babyzenyoyo
We’re proud. We’re emotional. But now she walks. Confident. Independent & Free. And we? We carry …..everything. #iykyk

今回の時間は、子どもたちと話すことがすべてでした。私たちのストーリーを分かち合いながら、彼らの夢を聞くこと。ダンサーやシンガーになりたいという夢を語ってくれた、とても素敵な女の子の話を聞けたことは本当に恵まれていました。彼女は立ち上がり、たくさんの自信と、私たち誰もが本当は持っているけれど多くの人が表現することを恐れてしまうエネルギーを放っていました。彼女は「欲しいものを自分から求めること」の大切さを体現していました。
私が彼女の年齢の頃はそんなふうではなかったので、本当に驚かされました。そして私は彼女をステージに呼び、一緒にパフォーマンスをしましたが、彼女は本当に素晴らしかったです！思わず涙が出ました。彼女がずっとやりたかったことの一部に関われたことを光栄に思います。
邑南町の子どもたちへ…素敵なストーリーと夢を分かち合ってくれてありがとう！みんなのことを心から応援しています。自分の夢に向かって思いきり挑戦してね！

The way was all about talking to the kids. Sharing our stories and learning what their dreams are. I was blessed with hearing this gorgeous girl share her dreams of wanting to be a dancer and singer, she stood up , with so much confidence and an energy that I believe we all carry but most of us are afraid to live out .. she set an example of “asking for what you want”.. I wasn’t like that at her age and was so amazed .. I had to have her up and share the stage with her and she KILLED IT! I have tears in my eyes. I felt honored to be part of something she’s always wanted to do. To all the kids at ohnancho.. thank you for your beautiful stories and sharing your dreams! I’m rooting for all of you. Go out there and get it!

日本ではフィットネスが成長しており、@tomo は特に女性に向けて、ウェイトトレーニングの大切さを伝える素晴らしいムーブメントを作り上げました！彼女のフォーカスは「お尻」！笑 これは日本ではかなり珍しいことです。彼女の10年間の成長を祝うことは、感動的で楽しく、とても刺激的でした！お招きいただきありがとうございます。そして、spiceupfitness の皆さん、おめでとうございます！
I was honored to spend such a special time in ohnan-Cho, a little town in shimane. The atmosphere of community, togetherness, love and children’s laughter.
My very close friends who were also invited all came to share a small part of what we do in our lives, to share our stories. To be a reminder that just because you live in a small town doesn’t mean you can’t have big dreams. However, unknowingly.. I looked around and took in what I saw to be peace, serenity, acceptance and so much love .. so much of this is a luxury we seek in our daily lives especially in chaotic busy cities and it reminded me the sacrifices we sometimes have to make depending on what our individual dreams and goals are. So although we went out there to “inspire” I was deeply reminded of the beauty of the world, people and nature.. it was a different kinda Japan for me. . And I’m still smiling as I remember the beautiful faces I got to meet and connect with.
Thank you @oyaki_taiyaki for the hospitality and your passion in serving your community and sharing that with us. See you til next time.
島根の小さな町、邑南町でこんなにも特別な時間を過ごせたことを光栄に思います。地域の空気、一体感、愛、そして子どもたちの笑い声。
同じく招かれた親しい友人たちと一緒に、私たちの人生の一部やストーリーを分かち合いました。小さな町に住んでいるからといって、大きな夢を持てないわけではないということを伝えるために。
でも気づかないうちに、周りを見渡すと、そこには平和、静けさ、受け入れ、そしてたくさんの愛がありました。こうしたものは、特に忙しくて混沌とした都会での生活の中で、私たちが求めている“贅沢”でもあります。そしてそれは、それぞれの夢や目標によって、時に必要となる犠牲についても思い出させてくれました。
「人をインスパイアする」ために行ったはずなのに、逆に世界や人、自然の美しさを深く思い出させてもらいました。私にとって、これまでとは少し違う日本の姿でした。今でも、出会い繋

what’s interesting is why assumptions and expectations even exist in the first place .. we talk about the unawareness of being this way and how it happens so often in intimate relationships or with people close to us the most.
