MAJOR LIFE UPDATE: I'm directing a film at my film school. It's very personal to me and it's one of my biggest ones yet. I hope people will find it heartwarming and romantic (just my style). I have THE BEST team of filmmakers working on it with me, they push me to do better everyday. I owe everything to these guys.

Jasmine moved to LA for school this weekend - i remember when i heard the news you got into UCLA i jumped out of my chair filled to the ceiling with joy! Now thay you're there and im sitting back in my chair missing the heck out of you. But i know how many great things you're going to do and it makes me emotional thinking about how hard you worked to get this point. Im so proud and happy for you. Thank you for all the memories we made here. Now we got a new city to discover. This is your time baby and like i said 3 years ago: im always gonna be your #1 fan. Continuing my annual ritual, these are my predictions for the holiest day of the year - Oscar Sunday. @theacademy Feel free to take my predictions and get some money off people. First choices are highlighted in BLUE and second choices are in GREEN. The Best Short Films predictions will be on my story. If you don’t care about the oscars then that’s chill. This year WAS TOUGH! a lot of disappointments but also a lot of quality films. Normally it’s easy to guess a lot of the winners BUT NOOO this year is tough. I have a lot of opinions about the movies nominated this year but that’s for another time. YAY OSCARS #academyawards UPDATE: I got wrecked this year. 3 categories completely off and most winners were my second choices. I agree w about half the winners but that’s another story
This past weekend I had the pleasure of having my script selected for the Twin Falls Sandwiches Film Festival in Twin Falls, ID. The script was read by local actors and won Best Short Script.
I have to say, it was an amazing experience. I have never been to Idaho but damn it’s beautiful. I loved the festival and I grew to love the town of Twin Falls. @brekofpallettown and @libby.gaines did AMAZING readings for all the scripts, including my own, and I hope I get to see y’all on the big stage or the big screen. It was an honor to attend the festival. One step closer to producing this thing :)

This is a short film I made by myself with the amazing acting help from my Dad. He's the man. This short was written, shot, edited, and submitted in 4 days. It was super stressful but so much fun. Im so happy to complete a solo short but what would make me even happier is if y'all could watch the short and vote for it on the link in my bio. It's for the My Rode Reel 2018 challenge so click on the link, vote using your Facebook or Google account and it's all anonymous to everyone so don't worry. I worked really hard on it and knowing that at least one person watched it would make me jump out of my seat but ofc the more the merrier. Hope you guys like the new solo short :)
Normally I don't like to be super open about my political views, especially on social media BUT this zero tolerance policy shit is disgusting. To separate children from their parents who are trying to make a better life is making their lives worse. The administration is destroying these kids future with the trauma that is being forced upon them. Yeah I'm mad. I'm furious. How can we continue to call ourselves: America, the land of the free if our doors are closed? How can we continue to think we are the land of opportunity when the people that seek opportunity are denied. We can't keep doing this. And is poster is from The Big Lebowski if you didn't know.
