Rachel Castaneda - Murals & Logo Painting

Big things happening in my little art biz world this week! I’ll be sharing my rebrand SO SOON! I’ve been wanting to change my business name for a few years, but was having a really hard time deciding which direction to go. The longer I held off, the more stressful the thought of it became. So many of you know me as “Rachel Writes” and for a long time I held onto keeping “Rachel” in my business name so I didn’t lose that connection. I decided to abandon that and go in a new direction which I’ll share more about soon. For now I wanted to post a general about me for anyone who lands on my page and is confused when they see a new handle. Also, I’ve never posted an about me 🤭 THANK YOU to everyone who has followed along through my art journey these last few years. Growing my business while growing my family means that I have not had a straight trajectory (and that’s okay!) but I am very grateful to you all for following along. It has been an awesome roller coaster ride and I’m thankful for the support. The before and after of this space, y’all 😍 The Parlour in Downtown Durham wanted to add a photo worthy entrance mural and we did just that! They wanted something abstract that tied into their existing art in the shop while also including brand colors.
