Members of our CHS Freshmen Success Team recently attended the Centers for High School Success Spring Collaborative in Ellensburg. Freshmen who pass all of their classes in 9th grade statistically have better academic outcomes in high school and in post-secondary learning.

🎉 Congratulations, Chelan Middle School!🎉 Chelan Middle School has earned recognition from the Washington School Recognition Program for both Closing Gaps and Academic Growth. This is an outstanding accomplishment. Only 16% of schools statewide earned recognition this year, placing CMS among a select group of schools across Washington. CMS showed meaningful gains on the 2025 Washington School Improvement Framework after being identified for Targeted Supports in 2024. Even more impressive, student growth from 2023–24 to 2024–25 ranked in the top 10% of schools statewide in multiple ELA and math measures. We are proud of our students, staff, families, and community for the focus, commitment, and belief that made this possible. #AchieveBelieveContribute #ChelanABCs KOZI Radio Lake Chelan Now All Things Lake Chelan

Congratulations to the Chelan FFA trap team, who recently competed at state along with 52 other teams from across the state. Weston Thorpe battled hard on Friday night to win 3rd in Chipper. Weston was also the team's top shot with an 85 out of 100, followed by Conrad Green, Luke Hefley, Grant Coonrod, and Breslynn Green. The team gives a special shout-out to Mr. Ramirez and Abby Ludwig for coming out to cheer them on. This was the last competition for our three seniors on the team, Conrad, Luke, and Grant. Thank you, Conrad, for your dedication to the team and for completing all four years of high school, and to Luke and Grant for three years.
