If you saw the documentary STANS on @paramountplus you might think us stans never got a shot to ask Eminem our questions. But he came to greet us the night of the NYC premiere. I had no expectations of ever meeting @eminem but when he walked through the door and greeted us I was in fuckin shock. As he said he was moved to tears by some of our stories and we are one of the reasons why he decided to fly out of Detroit. Man is humble as fuck. Thank you Em for giving a hug to @keilty_as_charged379 as your music saved her life and also for recognizing @kikiiripa letter that she wrote to him but never sent. Thank you again for taking time to hug thank and listen to all of us stans. #STANS p.s. meeting @djwhookid is a big deal too!
Surprise wedding! Nicole and I got married in a beautiful family ceremony this past Friday in Montclair. We look forward to inviting our extended family and friends in a much bigger reception in a year or two.

I grew up in a rough world. At school, I was bullied. At home, my father abused me. I was too scared to fight back, so my anger built until I acted out in high school. I got arrested—a sobering wake-up call.
School wasn’t any easier. I didn’t do well, had few friends, and wasn’t popular. At home, my parents’ constant arguing tore me apart. I’d blast “the way I am”to drown them out, pounding my fist to the beat until they yelled at me to turn it down. I wasn’t perfect—I rebelled whenever I could. And when my mom wasn’t home, my father would shove me so hard I’d hit the floor. I’d lie there, helpless, dreaming of running away.
One day, my mom and I came home to find my father gone. He took his things, our savings, and even our car. He crippled our family. To this day, I carry anger and struggle to forgive him. I think of people like Nate or Em and wonder how they’ve dealt with their own bitterness toward family.
The past few days have been incredible. Meeting Eminem was surreal. I think about those ten minutes we “stans” had with him every day—his words, his respect, his love for us. Hearing how his music has changed so many lives has been overwhelming.
If I could give one message to anyone reading, it’s this: Chase your dreams. Don’t let haters or self-doubt stop you. Work hard for what you love. Write that song, compose that poem, direct that movie, find that dream job—it’s worth it. I’d like to pay the love I’ve received forward to you.
Thank you to Steve, Paul, Em, Stuart, Kathy and everyone involved on this project for giving a nobody like me a voice.
To my one-month-old son, Kenny: I will always protect you. I’ll sing “Temporary” to you until you understand the words. I promise I’ll never hit you. I’ll love your mom always. You’ll be a greater man than daddy ever was, and I’m already so proud of you. All I want is to do better than my father—and I hope when your time comes, you’ll do better than me. #stans #stansmovie #eminem #newdad
It feels surreal to be part of the STANS documentary that premiered tonight in NYC. I’m incredibly grateful that my voice , my story and my love for @eminem is captured. Em’s music has helped me through some rough times and continues to shape me into who I am and who I will be. This documentary was raw and personal. I feel a deep connection to all of the Stans represented because we all share a common emotional thread to Eminem’s music. Please feel free to watch this movie in AMC theaters this weekend and share what it meant to you. To me it means the world. Thank you @leckart for putting me in this documentary. It is incredible. #STANS #stansdocumentary
