It’s been a while so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. I’m Che! I write TV (Hilda, Monster High, Wondla) and Comics (Batman: Urban Legends, Bitch Planet: Triple Feature). I’m also a film director! I’ve never been good at sharing my work but I want to change that. I’m holding my original horror comic Good Deeds cuz it’s my pride and joy. If you read it I hope you enjoyed it and if you’re looking for dark histories and terrifying folk monsters I’m your guy! I’ll be posting more content on my page in the coming weeks and months all dedicated to film, books, Horror and my passion for storytelling . The year of the horse. I was born the year of the horse as well so this is a special one. Mr. Big and I rode every Friday and I’m humbled by creatures as powerful and patient as they are.
I reached my reading goal of 50 books in 2025 ✨
This year felt special. I connected with a lot of what I read, read some nonfiction, tried my hand at annotating, and did something I never do - reread old favorites!
This year I’d like to get into more nonfiction and classics. My biggest ones are Dracula, The Count of Monte Cristo and Wuthering Heights.

Journaling has become an integral part of daily life. My thoughts and feelings while simple and often repetitive feel precious. Every moment feels worthy of praise. And as I life my day to day life as a writer my gratitude grows, my dreams nurtured by an inner life that I’ve ignored for far too long.

The best way for me to describe #nycc this year is SURREAL. I was so nervous in the weeks leading up to Absolute Catwoman’s announcement but the fans have been so amazing! Biggest thanks to @ssnyder1835 for being such an amazing mentor and even better friend. Thanks to the @readtinyonion crew and @jamesthefourth for being my home away from home. And also to 24 year old me who watched Brian K Vaughan at an NYCC panel ten years ago and said to myself “I want to be up there one day” This has been a full circle moment for me. There’s much more to come so back to deadlines I go so there’s something for you lovely people to read!
