One year ago, Kottukkaali stepped into the theater, carrying with it the breath of stories and the pulse of countless moments. Through my lens, I gathered the silences between actions, the laughter that echoed behind the scenes, the raw fragments that later became memory. As the still photographer and the eye behind the making video, I wasn’t just documenting—I was preserving the soul of a journey.
I hold a deep respect for our director, PS Vinothraj
@psvinothraj , who trusted me and gave me this opportunity. His belief became my strength. Comrade Anna Ben
@benanna_love , the heart of the film, made conversations flow endlessly; even now those exchanges live with me as something unforgettable. I also carry immense regard for Soori
@soorimuthuchamy , the main lead of this film, whose encouragement and kind interactions made the journey warmer.
This film is also alive because of its sound—the audio department
@raghav__ramesh @sebastianva.1 @makki._.m , who captured every breath and whisper with live sound. My admiration goes to the cinematography team
@sakthiveldop @dopkarthik @naveen__raj______ , the editor
@thecutsmaker @editor__vishnu , the character artists, and most of all, the ADs
@anbuchelvan_s @iamkingsleypaul @tamil1901 @raja_malai_98_96 , who stood as the backbone of this film. With them I shared countless conversations and memories, the kind that still stay with me like family bonds.
Kottukkaali was more than a project; it was a classroom, a journey, and a home. I learned so much from every soul who shaped it. From today, I will begin sharing the portraits and stills of each character—one by one—because every face carries a piece of this story.
Thank you, my team, for everything. ✨
